About Us
The company made a humble beginning in the year 1995. From there it grew to SMS Transport, one of the biggest business families.
The Founder’s untiring enthusiasm, his dedication to work, and his farsighted vision still guide and inspire us to lead the organization on the path of continued progress. SMS Transport continuously endeavors to better existing systems, processes, and productivity. With expertise spanning over two decades and infrastructure. SMS Transport has expanded its boundaries to offer seamless transportation solutions for inland transportation. These employees interact frequently on a wide scale among themselves and with our numerous customers in the areas of Transformer manufacturing, Electrical machine manufacturing, Steel manufacturing, Cement manufacturing, Heavy fabrication, Wind project developers, solar project developers, and Electrical Substation developers. So, this wide scale and effective interaction contributes considerably to the need of the hour.
Backed by more than 20 years of experience, we have the knowledge, expertise, confidence, and infrastructure to cater to the ever-demanding requirements of our valued clients. SMS Transport ensures that their clients have the best transportation system by developing and administering policies and programs for a safe, efficient, and environment-friendly transportation system contributing to the nation’s growth and social development and protecting the physical environment.
With an extensive network of agencies, direct and indirect employees throughout the country and with the available vehicles, we transport more than 1000 tonnes of cargo across the length and the breadth of the country, covering more than 100000 kms on an average trip basis.
The Company owns Specialized vehicles that are deployed for project cargo and super ODC vehicles that can be utilized whenever they are required and demanded by our clients.
10 pullers with various ranges of capacity FM 460, FM 400, FM 280, and around 100 Axles of different make form the core of SMS infrastructure.
SMS Transport also owns other types of vehicles which include MECHANICAL TRAILER, HIGH-BED TRAILER, and Taurus to carry parts consignments
In an attempt to expand our activities in surface transportation, we have launched a global positioning system along with our Volvo pullers to track the shipment. We have big ideas to make this division a full-fledged and leading one in a short while both in the land and sea operation field. We aim to cater to all sections of customers according to their requirements for particular types of vehicles.
